First evening of two session of CAP- Community Awareness Program/Congregation Assistance Program (second evening will be held on May 10) open to the public to be held at MidState Medical Center, 61 Pomeroy Ave, Meriden. Training will include a complimentary light dinner. This training requires pre-registration. The curriculum will cover emerging drug issues, problem gambling, mental health and suicide prevention, as well as local resources.

Training is sponsored by the Meriden Clergy Association and the So. Central CT Substance Abuse Council.

Participants receive 6 CEU credits from CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Problem Gambling Division and the QPR Gatekeeper certificate on suicide prevention.
