Known as the “hidden addiction” disordered gambling impacts over 66,000 Connecticut citizens. Women comprise one of the many “at-risk populations” vulnerable to developing a gambling problem, while a trauma history can compound that vulnerability. This training will offer a baseline understanding of gambling and how it impacts brain and biology and how to “have the conversation” with clients.
