New Report Available Now!

The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) contracted with Gemini Research to conduct a comprehensive study concerning the effect of legalized gambling on the citizens of this state.  This study includes an examination of the types of gambling activity engaged in by the public and the desirability of expanding, maintaining or reducing the amount of legalized gambling permitted by the state.  After a little over a year, we are to happy to share the study with all of our community partners.

Gambling Education Resource Van!

The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services is excited to partner with MCCA to bring a new mobile resource van to Connecticut.  The goal of the van is to provide gambling education and resources to the public on prevention, treatment, recovery support services, and the voluntary self-exclusion portal.  The van is available to attend trainings, events, health fairs, and other community gatherings across the state.  To schedule the resource van, visit www.responsibleplayct.org and click on Request the Resource Van.
